The theme is Authentic, the idea of resisting the world and being true to Christ. We are not made for this world. We live here and it’s a struggle to not become like the world. So how do we stay faithful to God and not give in to our culture? How do we listen to God’s voice over the messages of our culture? How does God call us to live then as Christians? And how do we step outside of our comfort zones to make a difference in the world rather than stay in a nice Christian bubble?

We'll be going to Carolina Creek Christian Camp and will leave Friday evening to return Sunday around the time 2nd service ends. We will be using The Backpack Rule for this trip - all your stuff for the weekend (clothes, toiletries, etc.) must fit into one normal sized backpack - sleeping bag and pillow don't have to fit into the backpack and are a great place to store a towel or jacket.
